Lessons Learned

Wow!
We are not even half way through our tour and God has already taught us so much!

+God loves His people…I have learned that the love God has for His people is GREAT! It covers a multitude of sins. Its can be overwhelming to think about the amount of love God is capable of. He has a desire to have an intimate relationship with the ENTIRE human race. Each person is valuable to Him. He does not love me anymore than he loves you, and yet He loves each of us more than our ability to understand.

+His people are everywhere… Its easy to feel alone as Christians when it seems there are few who believe as we do. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but to those who are being saved, it is the power of God” (1st Corinthians 1:18). Do not be discouraged by the thought that you are fighting a war alone. I have been so blessed by the people I have met on EVERY stop we have made. We are able to go places we have never been before, to churches we previously had no knowledge of, and share in the joy of the knowledge of God. Christians you are not alone, the Lord’s renown are everywhere!!

+His love is greater than the love of His people… I am sorry! If you have been hurt by or seen hypocrisy within the lives of those who bear the name “Christian”. The truth is, man is flawed, you will always see those who misrepresent God. All I ask is that you focus your eyes on God and not man. Because God is perfect and man is wicked.
